MapHop Privacy Policy

MapHop is a Safari Web Extension that helps open supported map links in Apple Maps. This policy explains what data MapHop handles.

Data we process

• MapHop reads supported map links in Safari on your device to perform the requested handoff to Apple Maps.
• The link handling happens on-device. MapHop does not send your map links or browsing history to our servers.
• The App does not require an account. We do not operate an account service for MapHop.
• We do not sell your data and do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs in the current App version.

Safari extension permissions

Safari controls extension permissions and may ask you to allow MapHop to access webpages or links. You can review or change these permissions in iOS Settings under Safari and Extensions. MapHop uses the permission needed to recognize supported map links and open them in Apple Maps; it does not use that access to build a browsing profile.

Purchases

Apple processes any App Store transaction. MapHop does not receive your full payment card details.

Children

MapHop is not directed at children under 13.
